Could this be the fastest thing on three-wheels? Marotti has just announced that its light-weight reverse-trike concept car is going into production.
The little known Polish manufacturer has been testing a prototype model, fitted with a 750cc Honda motorcycle engine. But, the firm has recently announced that the production version could get a 1.4-litre engine which puts out as much as 187bhp.
With a kerb-weight of 440kg, the newcomer would have a power to weight ratio of around 397bhp/ tonne- that's more than a Ferrari 458 Italia.
The radical jet-fighter inspired styling may not be for everyone and the car certainly looks best head-on, but if the Marotti can live up to the performance figures suggested then it could be destined for trackday glory.

It would ne interesting to see how it compares with the 60's technology of the 3-wheerler Morgan. That's a 0-60 time to beat!
