At this end-of-the-line, third-off price, this Halfords compressor makes a lot of sense. It’s small enough to slip in a spare wheel well or boot cubby, and has an accurate backlit digital gauge, complete with presets and a choice of scales. Storage is neat enough, although the 55cm hose is a little exposed. Pumping was adequate, with the unit adding 6psi to our test tyre.
