Stripped Exige is an S express

Lotus has announced prices for its Exige S - the fastest-accelerating machine ever to come off the Norfolk-based manufacturer's production line.

The tiny sports car weighs 935kg and is powered by a 219bhp supercharged engine. Using a close-ratio six-speed gearbox, the Exige S sprints from 0-60mph in 4.1 seconds. The model comes in Touring, Super Touring and Sports forms, and prices start from £33,995.
