See inside the new Camaro

Take a look inside the most exciting new Chevrolet of the decade! Auto Express can reveal these incredible spyshots inside America’s latest muscle car.

These are the best pictures yet of the car that will put Chevrolet back on the wish list of performance car buyers.

We’ve seen the basic shape of the modern day successor to the firm’s legendary muscle car before, and now we can take a seat inside. As you can see, the cabin is just a true to the original as the exterior.

The driver sits behind deep, square hooded dials, while the automatic transmission gets a retro lever. Four dials at the base of the centre console hark back to the USA’s muscle car glory days. The finishing touch is a three-spoke steering wheel complete with a Camaro badge.

Under the bonnet, the Camaro gets a V8 powerplant feeding all its torque to the rear wheels.

Sharing its platform with the hot Vauxhall VXR8, the new Camaro will go on sale next year. While it will only be offered in left-hand drive form, it is expected to appear in UK showrooms priced from around £30,000.
