Tata's new MPV has gone on 'Safari' and Auto Express was there to capture the newcomer testing.
Disguised in a typically confusing disguise, these pictures are the clearest yet of the Tata Safari and show the Indian firm is close to a UK return.
It will be the second-generation of spacious MPV/SUV crossover when it arrives and will also be Tata's first locally produced SUV since acquiring Jaguar-Land rover last year.
The current Safari weighs in at over 2000kg and its 3.0-litre turbo diesel delivers a lowly 115bhp, but it's expected the new car will address these issues shedding some pounds and increasing power.
There is still no word yet on a release date for the new Tata Safari but if these pictures are anything to go by it shouldn't be too long.
