Another car (as well as the new A-class) which it almost seems started life on the drawing board as the new i30. And in this case a reasonable starting point has been absolutely mauled and ended up about as ugly as you get!

Not too keen on Peugeot's design - I can imagine that once it has been dulled down into a production car it'll age quite quickly and definitely won't set a new benchmark for design in the class. I like the Megane's design overall - the front is a little to fussy but hopefully dulling down for production will be a positive amendment in this case. I think the Megane will look a very classy machine if these pictures are anything to go by.

Peugeot looks good but too play-it-safe-Germanic with a bit of flair, the Clio looks unresolved from the side and rear with a hunch-back on a hatchback

Back looks like an old Alfa 147 front looks like a Alfa 156.

I own a current 308, but from these two renders I'll prefer Megane.

AE definitely has done a better job in 'designing' the next 308.
This is much better than the new 308 graphics released by Peugeot recently.
