As well as eight memories and iPod charging, the display and controls fitted to a 12V plug. A USB socket links to the MP3 jack or dock leads provided – a good solution, but it might be awkward in some cars. Headphone input performance suffered from some rustling: sound was sharper and quieter with the dock.
