Volkswagen Passat CC review (2008-2011)

With a sportier design, the Volkswagen Passat CC is a stylish alternative to the standard Passat

2009-reg Diesel, Owner for 3 to 5 years

Don't consume oil like the old pd engines used to.has a tendency to blow rear bulbs regularly.cooling fan would not switch off when stopping the car on 2 or 3 occasions meaning you'd have to restart the engine and stop it again.eats the inside of the tyres. 18 inch alloys require new tyres every 12-14,000 miles. for som reasons chews the inside shoulder of the tyres (front and rear). dangerous if not spotted.

Never let me down, and the two minor faults were rectified by the dealer on warranty. Extremely frugal when driven normally, although 18" tyres are expensive to replace, but the spare is a full size alloy.

2010-reg Diesel, Owner for less than a year

There was a problem with the sensor for the automatic lights and wipers when I first got the car but the dealer rectified this under warranty

2010-reg Diesel

Nothing gone wrong since bought. Low mileage and around town driving makes for expensive costs but the comfort makes it worth while.

2009-reg Diesel, Owner for 3 to 5 years

No breakdowns in 3 1/2 years. Tyres are expensive, but now that vw has introduced national pricing, the servicing costs have dropped dramatically.

2011-reg Diesel, Owner for 1 to 3 years

No reliability issues or breakdowns/faults in over 40k miles. Good mpg but not as good as published.

2011-reg Diesel, Owner for 1 to 3 years

Faultless over 35k miles in first 14 months. 47 mpg for a powerful, large tourer - excellent.

2010-reg Diesel, Owner for 1 to 3 years

No problems. Fixed price servicing.

2011-reg Diesel, Owner for 1 to 3 years

No problems for over a year. Service only do far.
