Executive car buyers arenÂ’'t an easy bunch to please. Even with a credible four top 10 positions, the E-Class is failing to live up to the expectations of 14 per cent of its customers. But study the results a bit closer and itÂ’'s not hard to see why –– woeful reliability just wonÂ’'t be tolerated at this price level. A worrying 64 per cent of E-Class models had a fault in the last three years. While 10 per cent had suspension niggles, 40 per cent were made up of electrical problems. Mercedes has some improving to do.
