If your current car’s just eight years old and not 10 or more, Nissan will still offer you £2,000 off any of its British-built cars, including the Micra, Note, Qashqai or Qashqai+2. That takes the Micra 1.2 Visia to £5,995.

The new city car is benefiting from a summer discount, which knocks £1,000 off its price tag. That means the base Visia model starts at £5,995.
In addition the Micra and Note are now available in special edition n-tec trim. Costing from £9,995 and £11,640 respectively, the new trim boasts 16-inch alloys and Nissan Connect – a touch screen that combines a CD player with MP3 connection, USB port, bluetooth and satnav.
Nissan is also offering 0 per cent finance (with a 30 per cent deposit) available on Micra, Note, Qashqai and Qashqai+2 n-tec models.

To qualify for most scrappage deals, the car you’re scrapping has to be 10 years older or more. Nissan has dropped the age limit to eight years for buyers of its British built Micra, Note, Qashqai or Qashqai+2, giving them the same £2,000 discount.
