If Alfa Romeos are your thing, 2008 looks like being a vintage year. Hot on the heels of the Prodrive-tweaked Brera S comes another spiced-up Italian in the shape of the Autodelta 159 2.2C.
Propelled by a new supercharged version of the familiar 2.2-litre direct-injection petrol powerplant, the
model took 18 months to develop.
Thanks to the new Rotrex supercharger, the 2.2C has an additional 60bhp on tap, which takes the total output to a healthy 245bhp. Torque has also been increased, to 290Nm. Prices for the newcomer have yet to be announced.
