The styling might be predictably similar to the last-generation Audi A4 it's based on - but this is the first official shot of SEAT's Exeo ST. The estate version joins the saloon in a bid to win over customers from more premium brands, and SEAT is using innovative technologies to catch customer's eyes.
An ingenious sunroof uses mini solar panels embedded in the glass to generate power for the ventilation system, even when the ignition is off. Another option is the heat reflective windscreen which can reduce cabin temperatures by up 10 degrees on a summer's day. There's also a DVD sat-nav with 6.5-inch widescreen, while Bluetooth phone integration is standard across the range.
Two TDI units with either 141bhp or 168bhp mean that the Exeo produces tax-busting emissions of just 143g/km and 153g/km respectively.
The saloon goes on sale in April, while the estate variant will be available to order from April for an August delivery.
