It's official! Entry-level editions of Honda's innovative Insight will cost from £15,490, the Japanese car maker has announced.
That makes the Insight SE, with CO2 emmissions of 101g/km and combined fuel economy of 64.2mpg the country's best value hybrid engined family car.
SE models also get climate control air-conditioning, electric windows and stability control fitted as standard.
Upmarket ES, and ES-T models cost from £16,790 and £18,390 respectively, and offer a leather steering wheel and gearknob as well as paddle shift gearchange. Cars also get privacy glass and a USB port for MP3 players. Finally, top of the range ES-T equipped Insights get DVD satellite navigation and a hands free telephone connection.
The Insight hits showrooms on 4th April.
