Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition
Special edition of Porsche Cayenne revealed, only available with V6 petrol and diesel engines
Porsche has revealed Platinum Editions of the V6 Cayenne and V6 Cayenne diesel models, which will be available in the UK for a limited period only. The special editions feature an exclusive paintjob and some of the most-requested options fitted as standard.
The models can be immediately marked out from standard Cayenne 4x4s by the exclusive Platinum Silver Metallic paintjob. The air intakes at the front, along with the side window stripes and rear spoiler are also finished in platinum silver. Exterior changes are rounded off with 19-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, buyers can choose between exclusive two-tone interior finishes, and systems such as park assist, power steering plus, automatic anti-dazzle mirrors and Porsche Communication Management system are all now fitted as standard. The entry guards on the doors are also fitted with a Platinum Edition plaque.
The petrol-powered V6 Cayenne Platinum Edition is fitted with a 296bhp 3.6-litre engine, able to return 28.5mpg and is priced at £49,017. The more efficient diesel model is powered by a 242bhp 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel engine, capable of returning 39.2mpg. It’s priced at £49,584, making it slightly more expensive than the standard Cayenne diesel by £2,194.
Available to order now, first deliveries of both Cayenne Platinum Edition models begin in January.
