The Swisstool isn’t particularly modern and its design is hardly inspired, but it’s built as only the Swiss know how. It was very reassuring to hear the tools – which were all fixed to the outside of the arms – snapping into place. The precision and fit of the drivers and smaller tools inspired confidence when using them, and the saw in particular was startlingly sharp. The practical tests produced the best outright performance of any of the multitools, while the clincher for our premium Best Buy award was the great online price from The Swiss Army Knife Shop.
