For slipping into a pocket or bag, the TuneCast is hard to beat. It can work off a pair of AAA batteries or, using the supplied lead, a 12V input. Sound input is limited to the 3.5mm headphone socket, but it still had a fair range. The strong signal resisted interference well, although it wasn’t so good when the Belkin was being moved.
