The most expensive torch here is made from anodised aircraft-grade aluminium, and packs a single but mighty 3W LED. The case is solid and weighty, and the maker claims the torch will shine for 50 hours on three AA cells. Yet the area which was usefully illuminated was among the smallest on test.
