A large screen and relatively low price, this is a dedicated device that fits in your pocket. It comes ready to use and, unusually, has a second GPS antenna that can be plugged in to give a more accurate fix. But our destination village was missing from the map data, and unfamiliar icons made using the Mio a bit puzzling. The manual came on a CD-ROM and, interestingly, the 268 also features an MP3 digital music player.
