Designed by Jon Whyte, who penned the Benetton Formula One car that took Michael Schumacher to his first title, the Mezzo certainly looks futuristic. But we found the folding mechanism complicated, and while it's comfortable and grips well in bends, the lack of a stand and the poor brakes let it down.
