Renault launches special Megane and Scenic Limited models

Special edition Limited trim launched for Renault Megane and Scenic range, offering extra kit worth £1,000

Renault Megane Coupe Limited special edition

Renault has added a new special edition Limited trim level to both its Megane and Scenic line-ups.

Available to order now and due to arrive in showrooms this September, these models cost £500 more than the Dynamique TomTom variants on which they’re based.

For this, Renault claims customers will receive £1,000 worth of additional equipment, including panoramic sunroof and extra tinted windows.

Rear parking sensors and gloss black electrically operated, folding door mirrors are also fitted as standard, and there’s ‘LIMITED’ upholstery, badging and kickplates, too. 

Renault Grand Scenic Limited special edition

Optional extras come in the form of 17-inch ‘Pragma’ alloys for £310 and Renault’s R-Link infotainment system, which costs £200 in both the Scenic and Megane for UK-only sat nav, but can be upgraded to include Western European mapping for an additional £100.

Limited spec models will be offered for the Megane in hatch, Sport Tourer and Coupe body styles, and across the Scenic range apart from the XMOD crossover. Three petrol engines will be available – the 110bhp 1.6 VVT, 115bhp 1.2 Energy TCe and Scenic-only 130bhp 1.2 Energy TCe – plus two diesels, the 110bhp 1.5 dCi and 130bhpEnergy 1.6 dCi.

Prices for the Megane Limited start at £18,250, while the equivalent Scenic kicks off at £19,865.
