Aston Martin One-77 review

Editor of evo, Harry Metcalfe, has been to Wales for an exclusive drive of the ultra-rare Aston Martin One-77

When Aston Martin released details of the One-77 back in 2011, we were ensured it was set to be one of the most exclusive cars in the world – with only 77 units making production.

With a price tag of over £1.1million, only a select few were ever going to get behind the wheel, and the chances of one getting into the hands of a journalist was totally out of the question.

Capable of 0-60mph in just 3.7 seconds, the flagship Aston tops out at 220mph. It packs 750bhp from its huge 7.3-litre V12 engine, and is substantially rarer than its main rival, the Bugatti Veyron.

So when one of the lucky owners offered our sister magazine, evo, the opportunity to sample the One-77, editor-in-chief, Harry Metcalfe, jumped at the prospect.

So sit back and enjoy the video, for Harry’s verdict on the ultimate Aston Martin.
