Choosing a New Citroën C3 Aircross is child’s play (sponsored)

Buying a new car needn’t be boring. With the award-winning New Citroën C3 Aircross, you can have as much fun as a child in a sweet shop

If your kids ask why you don’t buy a more fun new car, take them with you to your local Citroën dealer. They’ll be wowed by the exciting, different shape of the C3 Aircross.

And that’s before they spot the seemingly endless colour combinations available, and realise they can make the design stand out even more by picking the finish they want inside and out with the configurator. In all, there’s a choice of eight body colours, three roof colours and four exterior colour packs. That’s a dizzying total of 85 personalisation combinations.

The customisation doesn’t end with colours, though. From there you can also add a shutter effect on the quarter lights, for example, as well as pick from a whole host of alloy wheel designs, roof bars and other lifestyle accessories to get the car to suit you.

Climb inside, and there’s more scope to add your personal touch, with five interior ambiences. Each adds a unique look and feel to the C3 Aircross’s cool, modern cockpit.

This car isn’t just designed to look good; it works well for family life, serving up the biggest boot in its class, as well as sliding rear seats to maximise load space or rear legroom as required. The seats also split and fold 60:40 – with a light action that even children can operate – to liberate an even larger, ultra-versatile luggage capacity. A moveable load floor further adds to the appeal, providing extra space or a flat floor depending on your needs.

Of course, safety is at the top of the list for any family car buyer, and there’s a long list of technology available, designed to protect your most precious cargo. Blind spot monitoring, active safety brake and Citroën’s Connect Box Emergency Assistance system are just some of the highlights of the 12 clever optional driving aids offered on the C3 Aircross.

Technology isn’t just there for safety, though; it helps bring a sense of fun to this Citroën’s interior as well. In the centre of the dashboard is a large seven-inch touchscreen with a MirrorScreen function, which mirrors your smartphone’s display and allows you to use its apps. This means streaming services such as Spotify can be accessed, so you can take your music with you. You can also open the car to the elements with the optional large electric opening panoramic sunroof.

But best of all, you can enjoy all of this while savouring one of the most cossetting and relaxing rides of any car on sale; the C3 Aircross benefits from Citroën’s Advanced Comfort programme, so it has supple suspension and some of the most comfortable seats around. Whether you’re seven or 47, this car will appeal because it’s so practical, customisable, comfortable, hi-tech and, above all, fun.
