Citroen has renewed its deal as Arsenal Football Club's official automotive partner

Citroen has become FA Cup finalists Arsenal’s first signing of the summer.

The French company has renewed its deal as automotive partner with the North London football club for a further three years.

The pair first teamed up in 2008, and the partnership will see Citroen continue to supply cars to the Arsenal coaching staff – including manager Arsene Wenger, pictured with Citroen UK managing director Linda Jackson – as well as the admin staff, too.

The full range of Citroen cars will be available to the Arsenal staff, including the recently launched C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso and the popular DS line-up.

Linda Jackson, who is set to take over as CEO of the Citroen brand, said: “Citroen and Arsenal have enjoyed a positive and successful partnership since 2008 and we’re delighted to be continuing that association.”

The deal follows Vauxhall’s tie-up with Liverpool and Manchester United’s sponsorship by Chevrolet.
