Hyundai has revealed a concept version of the next-generation Genesis coupe with the HND-9 concept, which ade its debut at the Seoul Motor Show this week.
The rear-wheel-drive model gets the same long bonnet and muscular styling as the HCD-14 concept, which debuted at the Detroit Motor Show earlier this year, and showcased the design of the forthcoming Genesis saloon. Differences between the two concepts reveal the coupe is likely to get a few bespoke design touches, including new front and rear styling.
Power comes from a 3.3-litre turbocharged V6 engine, which delivers a maximum output of 365bhp through an eight-speed automatic gearbox. That’s more than the current range-topping R-Spec Genesis coupe, which is powered by a 343bhp 3.8-litre V6.
The Hyundai Genesis coupe isn’t currently sold in the UK but Hyundai Motor UK’s president and CEO, Tony Whitehorn, has previously mentioned it could be sold here. “Never say never, but we’ll have to make sure the time is right; we need to build up the brand first”, he told Auto Express.

I like the Hyundai HND - 9 Concept
Shame they dont sell the current Genesis coupe in the UK. An impressive looking thing, that I think would do well here, after all didn't the old coupe sell well?
I say! It's more angular, concept-y Aston. Very pretty, sure, but hardly original.
