Lamborghini has unveiled its revised Gallardo range on the eve of the show

Lamborghini has revealed the facelifted Gallardo range, and announced that the most focused Performante and Superleggera models will become 'Edizione Technica'.

The standard LP560-4 Gallardo models now have a subtly different look, inspired by the more angular design language seen on the Aventador.

The bumper now has a huge intake that stretches across its entire width, while there are new hexagonal brake ducts, too. The trapezoidal patterns are mirrored at the rear of the car and there's a new design of 19-inch alloys wheels available.

A new 'Style Package' can be specified as an option, giving buyers the choice of gloss-black paint on the front spoiler as well as the front and rear grilles.

Changes to the interior are minimal, but Lamborghini has mentioned that its Ad Personam personalization program will allow drivers to have virtually anything they want in the cabin.

The new Edizione Technica Spyder Performante and Superleggera models don't get the same styling updates as the standard Gallardo, but do now come with carbon-ceramic brakes and a large fixed rear wing as standard. Previously, these were optional extras.

There are also three exclusive Edizione Technica paint finishes, including a matt-black and red design inspired by the Sesto Elemento concept.

The new models will be in Lamborghini showrooms by November and, while prices haven't yet been announced, should cost from around £150,000.
