Chrysler 300C

New 300C on the menu

Even development engineers get hungry - and here's the proof...

Chrysler 300c
Disguise can’t hide saloon’s central brake light

18th April 2007

We caught this facelifted Chrysler 300C at a drive-through fast food outlet. But while the meals were supersized, changes to the big saloon aren't exactly whoppers.

The tail of the big four-door saloon was under wraps on this test mule, yet it is clear that the new rear end features a repositioned third brake lamp - you can see the new lens in the middle of the bootlid. The car is also likely to have revised rear light clusters underneath the black cladding.

Up front, changes will be more minor, as Chrysler has opted to leave the car's distinctive nose relatively untouched. However, there will be some cabin upgrades, and tweaks could also be made to the trim levels as part of the revamp.

The updated US saloon should arrive in showrooms here next year, starting from around £26,000.
