With sites across Europe, this German-based service offers a massive range of patterns and places to get them fitted – but many are workshops rather than tyre specialists. While its prices were competitive, there were too many mystery initials and German words. The call centre unravelled these, but do we need to know a tyre has a BSW – black sidewall?
I've purchased tyres from mytyres on three seperate occasions and have always had excellent service from them, in terms of product delivery, price, quality and attention to detail. I was called to give my opinion of the fitter on two the last two occasions. To Mark - did you call them ? They do have a UK number and speak excellent English.
I will be buying more tyres from them in the future.
Be Careful
I had a very bad experience with Mytyres, and would not recommend them. They changed delivery last winter for some vredenstein tyres from 3 days to 3 months. I cancelled them, but they still delivered them to my local fitter and send out a debt collection agency to recover the money. My dealer had no idea who they were for, and no one contacted me to advise delivery. But who can afford to wait 3 months for tyres??? I suggest you keep clear.
