Chunky, all-in-one unit is too big to slip in a pocket, yet it's a doddle to use, with three ways to operate it - a touch-screen, multi-function buttons or a remote control. A speaker built into the cigar lighter plug gives clear directions, but because there is no internal battery, the system has to be restarted after every turn of the ignition. Offering top quality at a high price, the Garmin is our Recommended choice
