2011-reg Petrol, Owner for 1 to 3 years

Since using toyota's I have never had any issue with reliability. Fuel prices are constantly rising and fuel economy it today's watchword - I'm sure I can getter better mpg with different models - spare parts through the dealership are expensive, however I tend to go for the maximum warranty that I can. I also got a deal with 3 years free servicing. I have only had to pay out just over ł100 for a flat, however, I managed to get to the dealer and get it sorted within 30 mins which I thought was excellent service - even if somewhat expensive for a replacement tyre and labour.

08-reg Diesel, Owner for 1 to 3 years

My car has a MMT Transmission which is a liitle harsh in very cold conditions until it warms up,when all is then normal. My main moan is that 1st Gear tends to hold on too long before changing up, something I am informed by my dealer is preset and cannot be altered. I am told to expect a CVT later this year and will be one of the first in the queue if one if offered. The parcel shelf arrangement in the boot is poor and not a patch on my early Jazz. However I see the latest Jazz is fitted with an equally poor arrangement so Honda are probably trying to cut costs as well!!

54-reg Diesel, Owner for 1 to 3 years

I am very pleased with my car and lose no opportunity to recommend it to friends. I consistently get over 60mpg, even though I rarely go more than 20 miles from home. Only £35 tax, too. Now 40,000 miles (you didn't ask for that figure, surprisingly!) and my only significant expense in the last year has been for new tyres.
I have been a Toyota fan for almost 30 years and this car is the best yet.

54-reg Diesel, Owner for Less than a year

Great small car with brilliant fuel economy. Only bad point are that the front seats aren't very comfortable on long journeys, and since this japanese car was built in France, they insisted on using utterly useless star headed fixings to fit the seats instead of hex nuts (which dont round off when you try to remove).
Other than that great for the size and cost.

2007-reg Petrol, Owner for 1 to 3 years

My yaris has not let me down since I first bought it, although it can be a bit tempermental starting on damp mornings,. Shortly after I bought the yaris, I filled the tank and set off on a weeks holiday to rutland. we toured where we wanted during the week ( most days ), and drove home on the eighth day back to essex, still on the same tank of fuel !

2005-reg Petrol, Owner for 3 to 5 years

Totaly dependable and reliable in all aspects, in over the last four years I've had no problems. It's very efficient and easy to work on. I change the oil and filter every year. I renewed the plugs over 3 years ago so will need to change them sometime this year only because they probably need to. tyres last a long time and are cheap to buy.

Cost: 5/5
51-reg Petrol, Owner for More than 5 years

Bought as everyday workhorse for my wife and has been as much trouble as a toaster - apart from tyres and brake pads we have replaced the back of the exhaust and thats it. Always done over 45mpg in town and over 50mpg on longer runs, cheap insurance and tax and fun to drive too. The new model will have to be really good to follow this one.

Cost: 5/5
2006-reg Petrol, Owner for 3 to 5 years

Never failed to start althoughbattery life very short if sidelights or internal lights left on accidentally. Running costs are very good, however it is only 1300cc. so should be economical. tyres wear evenly but battery life very short if any lights left on for 10+ minutes without notor running. could do with heavier battery.

Cost: 4/5
05-reg Petrol, Owner for Less than a year

Its a great little car, fun to drive and cheap to run with only a 1 litre engine its not the fastest but its fine for me. Three doors do make things little difficult but I am very happy with my choice and wish I had a bought one instead of the Ford Ka I had as my previous car.

Cost: 5/5
08-reg Petrol, Owner for 1 to 3 years

As a small car, mostly used as a runabout but occasionally for long journeys or touring, it is difficult to imagine that it can be bettered. It can be adapted from grown-up's car to dogkennel or freight carrier in very few minutes, making it ideal for my present life.

Cost: 5/5
2003-reg Petrol, Owner for 3 to 5 years

Car is now 9 years old. I keep it well maintained and serviced via toyota dealership. only problem so far has been a right wheel bearing went. other than that just a new battery and tires. has never let me down. Very economical, which is all I neec.

70,000 miles from new. only issues;rear door strap replacedon second set of tyresstill on original brake pads and shoes.front anti-roll rubber bushes replaced. Averaged 54 miles/gallon over 70,000 miles.servicing cheap as I do it all myself.

Cost: 5/5
09-reg Petrol, Owner for Less than a year

Reliable, comfortable, safe, economical and fairly practical. It is a little dull to drive and the styling is unadventurous. The main irritation is the tendency for the revs to hang on after lifting off the gas during gear changes.

Cost: 5/5
2012-reg Diesel, Owner for less than a year

Its a toyota so I now it is going to relaible having owned at least 10 toyotas previously. No need to keep your eye on the fuel bills with this diesel engine and service costs compare with any other brand.

Quite heavy on front tyres, Changed at 9000 miles whereas my previous Mercedes A Class did 22,000 on the fronts.
The MMT transmission is easy but tends to be jerky at low speeds.
Pleased with the economy.

Cost: 4/5

Not had a problem since I bought it. I think toyotas are perhaps quite expensive but the dealer has scheme to pay servicing in installments and tyres were cheaper than a tyre specialist.

Cost: 3/5
2010-reg Petrol, Owner for less than a year

Dealers are more expensive than local garages but for a dealer, toyota is not bad, and their fixed price for many items is good + free puncture repair and bulb change is great.
