We’ve always liked Halfords’ chargers, thanks to their useful safety features, decent leads and good storage. Now, updated electronics keep this unit at the cutting edge. It’s claimed to be unable to charge cells with less than 6V, but it coped with our four-volt battery. Quick charging, pulse conditioning and a low price helped it clinch the top spot. A great Best Buy.
