The German firm’s rival to the Philips X-treme (Page 67). It promises 90 per cent more light than standard, plus a whiter beam. But on our tests, the Night Breaker bulbs weren’t consistent enough. Although one gave the best result after the X-treme products, the other trailed nearly 50 points behind.

Updated Version

There is a new version of the Nigh Breaker headlight bulb now available. It boasts a 50% longer life than the original version, and still gives 90% extra light output.
