The MC joins the standard GranCabrio and the GranCabrio Sport but tops the range ahead of both of them. All are powered by the same 4.7-litre V8 but, while the lesser models boast 433bhp and 444bhp respectively, the MC is likely to get 454bhp.
Expect to see a pretty substantial drop in kerbweight, too, with the MC Stradale coupe dropping 110kg over the GranTurismo Sport. There will also be some tweaks to the suspension, to make the MC slightly more focused.
Marking out the MC from the rest of the GranCabrio range is a more aggressive bodykit. The front end is borrowed from the MC Stradale coupe, while the rear diffuser, prominent exhausts and larger bootlid spoiler confirm this as the range-topper.
Maserati hasn’t yet revealed prices, but the GranCabrio MC is expected to start from around £115,000.
