Mazda 2 Colour special editions revealed
Mazda adds two special editions to its line up based on the 2 supermini, with extra equipment and styling add-ons
Mazda has given its range a boost with two new special editions of the Mazda 2 supermini. Based on the SE Air Con model, the Colour Edition and Sport Colour Edition features extra equipment and unique styling tweaks.
The two new models feature three exclusive exterior colours: True Red, Crystal White and Aluminium Silver. Both come with 11 items of additional equipment over the standard car, including 15-inch dark grey alloy wheels, privacy glass, Jet Black door mirror housings and a rear spoiler.
To this, the Sport Colour Edition adds 16-inch alloy wheels, a bodykit and front fog lights. Inside, the new 6.1-inch Mazda Navigation System is fitted along with integrated Bluetooth instead of the standard cars’ Parrot hands-free system.
The standard Colour Edition is powered by a 75bhp 1.3-litre petrol engine, while the Sport Colour Edition get the more-powerful 85bhp version of the same engine. Both models are limited to only 1,000 units each, and cost from £11,745 for the Colour Edition and £11,745 for the Sport Colour Edition.
