Infiniti has chosen the Geneva Motor Show to unveil its new BMW 3 Series-rivalling Q50 in European spec for the first time.
We saw the 359bhp petrol hybrid model at January’s Detroit show, but the Euro-spec car has a 2.1-litre diesel, sourced from Mercedes.
The four-cylinder makes the same 168bhp as the C-Class 220 CDI and Infiniti estimates a 0-60mph time of under nine seconds, plus fuel economy of 64mpg and CO2 emissions below 115g/km.
The Q50 goes on sale in the autumn with prices likely to start around £30,000.

The front looks like a grinning cartoon shark showing its teeth. Dislike + Meh
Very smart looking - shame they've had to resort to four cylinder tractor engines from Merc for the euro market. Like the U.S spec models with V6 petrol.
