The facelifted LS rides on a tweaked version of the current car’s platform but gets sleeker, classier styling. The new flagship F Sport model is more aggressive, with a bold front bumper and a lower ride height.
All models in the new LS range now include an updated Adaptive Variable Suspension system to help improve the ride comfort and also tighten up the handling.
The UK engine line-up will consist solely of the LS600h hybrid model, which comes with selectable driving modes ranging from Eco to Sport S+.
Technology takes centre stage, with Lexus claiming to become the first manufacturer to fit heated seats and a heated steering wheel that can be automatically controlled.
A new sat-nav system also features alongside a 19-speaker sound system and the option to fit screens and a hi-definition Blu-Ray player to the backs of the front seats.
Lexus hasn’t yet announced pricing and availability for the new LS, but expect to see it on sale in the UK in early 2013.
