L-school clarification

In our 10 August issue, Auto Express magazine published an article raising concerns about learners taking lessons with unqualified driving instructors. We set up a wholly fictitious, non-trading, Internet-based driving school named EasyLearn, solely for the purpose of helping to raise awareness about this issue.

We wish to clarify that our driving school was completely unconnected to (and should therefore not be confused with) either the Easylearn Driving School run by Kevin Watson of Consett, Co Durham, or the Easy Learn School of Motoring run by Matthew Warburton of Retford, Nottinghamshire (or indeed any other driving schools with a similar name).

We can confirm that Mr Watson and Mr Warburton are both experienced qualified instructors, and that their driving schools are registered with the Driving Instructors' Association.
