The facelifted Citroen C3 Picasso is now on sale, and along with an updated exterior, it gets an interior refresh and a set of styling tweaks to broaden its appeal.

With prices starting at £12,995 the mini-MPV is a great value, practical and attractive alternative to the humdrum family hatchback, but have the cosmetic improvements made it good enough to challenge the class-leading Ford B-MAX?

All cars come with an MP3 compatible stereo, but you’ll have to upgrade to a mid-spec model to include kit like alloy wheels, air conditioning and front fog lights. Options like the desirable panoramic roof, privacy glass and parking sensors are reserved for plush flagship models.
