Teaser sketches of the all-new Kia Carens compact-MPV have been released, ahead of its debut at the Paris Motor Show in September.
The updated Carens will ditch the current model’s van-like proportions and gain a fresh new look, bringing it up to date with Kia’s current design language. It takes its cues from the stylish Venga mini-MPV and popular Cee’d hatchback, with a much sleeker body and more imposing front end.
Said to have been conceived around the theme ‘dynamic space’, the new Carens will maintain the functionality of a compact MPV, while mixing deceptively striking looks.
Specs and prices will be announced nearer the launch, but with current cars starting at just £14,705, the new Carens is set to be quite a bargain. Especially when you factor in Kia’s seven year, 100,000-mile warranty.
