Bentley Bentayga First Edition gets exclusive kit
Just over 600 Bentely Bentayga First Editions will be built, at £229,500 each - but they're already sold out
Bentley has revealed its super-luxurious Bentayga First Edition SUV to a select group of VIP customers at the LA Motor Show today. Just 608 will be built, but each one has been sold despite costing £229,500.
The First Edition is distinguable via its unique Union Jack badging, illuminated tread plates and 22-inch polished black wheels. Buyers also get a choice of 10 extrerior paint hues.
Inside, all cars get ‘Diamond within Diamond’ quilted leather, bespoke ambient lighting and more Union Jack badging. All the usual wood and metal finishings are also present.
All cars use the potent twin-turbo 600bhp 6.0-litre W12 engine, which will do 0-62mph in 4.1 seconds and hit a top speed of 187mph. Like the standard car, the First Edition will return 22.1mpg and emit 292g/km of CO2.
Kevin Rose, member of the board for sales and marketing, said: “We have created the ultimate expression of the Bentayga’s spirit. It is equipped with an array of striking features that celebrate both the pioneering nature of Bentayga and its unique abilities.”
Each First Edition customer will also get a choice of three unique Breitling watches.
