Entry-level Aygo is getting in trim

A new range of safety upgrades is available on the Toyota Aygo

10th April 2007

Buyers of the base car can now specify side and curtain airbags, stability control, traction control and rear headrests for £960.

All this extra protection comes on top of the standard driver and passenger airbags, ABS with electronic brakeforce distribution and seatbelt pretensioners. It’s offered on both three and five-door versions of the city car.

The upgrade package on the Aygo+ and Black models – both of which are already equipped with curtain bags – costs £1,180 as it also includes air-con.
