The new Fiat Panda 4x4 has made its world debut at the Paris Motor Show. Just like the Panda 4x4 it replaces, the newcomer will be the only four-wheel drive car in its segment and comes equipped with an electronic locking differential and uprated suspension.
It gets a few styling tweaks, too, including aluminium inserts on the front and rear bumpers, complete with visible underbody protection. New colours like Sicilia orange and Toscana green are unique to the 4x4.
Two engine versions are available for the Panda 4x4: the 84bhp 0.9 TwinAir Turbo and the 74bhp 1.3 MultiJet II diesel.
Appearing alongside the Panda 4x4 in Paris will be two new special-edition versions of the Panda supermini: the Trekking and Natural Power versions. The former is two-wheel drive but gets a Traction+ system to help with grip on slippery surfaces.
The Natural Power model uses a dual-fuel version - methane and petrol - of the 79bhp 0.9 TwinAir Turbo engine, for improved fuel economy and emissions.
