Watch precision driver Paul Swift get undertaken in an Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio Verde SBK

Alfa Romeo has taken a back seat in recent years, but the future is bright, with nine new models set to hit showrooms by 2016.

With just two cars in its current line-up, the MiTo and the Giulietta the Italian carmaker is looking forward to heavily rebranding its model range – kicking off with the 4C sportscar, due later this year.

In the meantime, Alfa will focus on its existing range, starting with the special edition MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde SBK. Only 28 will reach the UK, each loaded with kit and individually numbered for exclusivity.

In this video, Alfa demonstrates the art of undertaking by putting stunt driver, Paul Swift, on two wheels, while superbike rider Chris Walker precariously slips down the inside.

Hit play to see how the two get on, and be sure to check out our review of the current Alfa MiTo.
