Feast your eyes on the hottest MiTo ever! This is Alfa Romeo’s new MiTo
GTA – a stunning turbocharged flagship that made its worldwide debut at Geneva.
Boasting pearlescent white paintwork with a contrasting bodykit complete with a front splitter, mesh air intakes,
plastic side skirts and a power bulge on the bonnet, it really looks the part.
Power
comes from an all-new 1,750cc four-cylinder turbo engine with
237bhp, which should help deliver a 0-60mph time of around six seconds and a top speed of 150mph. The newcomer is set to have a price tag of around £18,000, and UK sales will start in early 2010.
Also on Alfa's stand was the 8C Competizione Spider, which will made available in limited run of 500 units, each costing £150,000. Alfa also revealed two new engines – a 170bhp 2.0-litre JTD diesel and a 200bhp version of the MiTo GTA's unit. They will go on sale in the Brera coupe and 159 compact executive ranges later this year.
