Mazda MX-5 Sport Graphite launched
Mazda reveals the new Mazda MX-5 Sport Graphite with just 500 models available and extra kit
The Mazda MX-5 Sport Graphite limited edition has arrived in the UK featuring extra equipment and a distinctive contrasting Meteor Grey folding hardtop. The latest in a long line of special editions for the evergreen roadster, Mazda only plans to sell 500 models, meaning exclusivity to owners.
Priced from £20,995 for the entry 125bhp 1.8-litre petrol model, it's £1,000 more than the equivalent MX-5 in SE trim. However, if you opt for the £22,995 158bhp 2.0-litre model, there is an £800 saving against the MX-5 in Sport Tech Nav.
Both models of the limited edition Sport Graphite feature 17-inch dark grey alloys, black leather heated seats, a 5.8-inch TomTom Sat Nav with integrated Blutooth and interior and exterior limited edition badging.
Exclusive the Sport Graphite is the eye-catching range of colours, which include Aquatic Blue Mica, Zeal Red Mica or Aluminium Silver Metallic, all of which come fitted with the contrasting Meteor Grey folding hardtop as standard.
Inside, the steering wheel is fitted with dark grey glossy spokes to match the dash and finished with unique grey stitching along with the handbrake and the seats. An alloy pedal set complete the makeover and MX-5 branded floor mats can also be fitted at an additional cost.
Performance remains the same with no mechanical changes, with the 1.8-litre model hitting 62mph in 9.9sec and going on to a top speed of 123mph, while the top spec 2.0-litre model will sprint to 62mph in 7.9sec and reach 136mph. Both cars return 39.8mpg and 36.2mpg respectively.
The Mazda MX-5 Sport Graphite is on sale now and potential buyers can also take advantage of the 0 per cent interest rate Mazda currently offer.
