As you can see, the latest prototype is undisguised, fuelling speculation that a V8 range-topping RS model could soon be launched. Visual changes amount to lower suspension an updated front spoiler, with the most striking difference being the addition of a fixed rear wing.
It’s expected the RS will use a tuned version of the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 found in the S model, with power set to increase from 521bhp to around 540bhp – placing it a little below the Continental GT W12.
This should equate to a 0-62mph time of under 4.3 seconds and a top speed in excess of 190mph.
There’s no word on a release date or prices as yet, but expect to see the Continental GT V8 RS start from around £140,000 when it goes on sale.
