Renault’s tiny Twingo was big news at the Paris Motor Show
By James Disdale October 2006Available for the first time in right hand drive, the new baby Renault will be aimed at young, style conscious buyers. Under the bonnet will be a powerful new 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that gives 100bhp in entry-level form. Company chief Carlos Ghosn claimed the powerplant would give, ‘The economy of a 1.2, the power of a 1.4 and the torque of a 1.6’. Expect UK sales in September 2007.
