A top German tuner has been let loose on Audi’s new TT RS – and created this jaw-dropping take on the flagship Coupé.
McChip rewired the ECU to boost the turbo and pump more fuel into the 2.5-litre five-cylinder engine. That has hiked power from 335bhp to 380bhp, and unleashed 550Nm of torque – enough for an unlimited
top speed of 186mph.
Costing £770, the McChip makeover cuts the 0-62mph time from 4.7 seconds in the standard car to 4.1 seconds – which makes this RS quicker than the regular R8 supercar.
The firm claims fine-tuning and a sports exhaust will take the output to 400bhp. Engine cooling will also be improved – and with these modifications, the mega TT should match the 3.9-second 0-62mph time of the R8 V10
