Citroen's quirky C4 is in for an update! These spy shots show a heavily clad test-mule keen to hide any details of the cars design.
Although the photos don't reveal much, Citroen's product boss, Vincent Besson has told media that the new car will be lighter and more efficient than the current model.
Talking at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Besson also revealed that the car will be powered by three cylinder engines at launch and, possibly, petrol-electric hybrid drivetrains in the future.
Citroen also laid out their strategy for hybrid and electric vehicles, claiming that the technology will only be available on high-end models of the C4 because it's not economically viable in small city-cars.
The updated C4 is due to be launched towards the end of 2010 with prices starting at around £14,000.
