Owner verdict (Driver Power 2010):

It’s not been a great year for Audi’s soon-to-be-replaced saloon.

As ever more hit the three-year-old mark, owners are starting to report an increasing number of design and engineering flaws.

Although 19th in the build quality stakes is impressive, 77th for handling and 56th for performance are disappointing for a car that competes head-to-head with BMW’s 5-Series.
