Ride quality - driving the Leon constantly, you start to get used to the stiff ride. But after returning to it following a few weeks in our Volkswagen Golf GTI Edition 30 it feels too firm, and uncomfortable over bumpy roads.
Service intervals - while the quality of service we received at our dealer was top-notch, we didn’t expect to make a visit so early. Working on a variable schedule, the indicator started flashing at 9,000 miles, which is pretty poor for a diesel.

Looks - even after six months with the Leon I still find myself admiring its looks, especially the aggressive front end and gaping lower airdam. Not everyone likes the Crono Yellow, but I think it’s the best colour to go for.
Dealer service - the brand may only have finished 27th in our Driver Power dealer survey, but I’ve nothing but praise for the people at SEAT Stoneacre in Peterborough, Cambs. They’re very helpful, and when I picked the car up, it had been cleaned.
